AI video costs real money, and surprises are the worst kind. Every generator shows an estimate in credits before it runs, a live meter while it works, and the final number after. Set a monthly budget and it stops there.
Try the estimator. The rates in it are illustrative and will change before launch.
The checklist is the point. A job cannot be marked ready until a person has ticked every box, and the log keeps who did it and when.
Toddlecast does not post to YouTube for you. It prepares the file, the text and the settings, and you upload. We may add scheduled upload later, and it would still need your approval each time.
Translate keeps the melody and matches syllables, then re-voices the track. It is not subtitles on top.
Videos for children have to be marked Made for Kids, and realistic AI content may need a disclosure. Toddlecast puts both in your checklist and in the description, so you are not relying on memory.
It also leaves out what those rules switch off anyway: no comment prompts, no end-screen begging, no "subscribe" from a character.

A parent creates the account and turns Kids Studio on. Consent comes first. Children never sign up themselves.
You choose a daily limit and allowed hours. When time is up, Bee says a gentle goodbye and the session ends.
Default: 20 minutes a dayLeaving Kids Studio or changing a setting needs your PIN, or a hold-to-exit gate that little hands do not trigger by accident.
Bee only talks about making stories, songs and videos, and steers back to the story when a chat drifts. Bee never pretends to be a real person.
Bee never asks for names, addresses, school, photos or secrets. If a child offers one, Bee does not use it.
Every message from your child and every reply from Bee passes a kid-safety filter before it is shown or spoken.
If something sounds like sadness or danger, Bee answers kindly, tells your child to talk to their grown-up, and you are notified.

Kids Studio is a creative activity. We don't say it makes children smarter, and we won't.
Health bodies recommend short, shared screen time for young children. Kids Studio is designed for 10 to 20 minute sessions, ideally with you sitting right next to them. Bee even asks, now and then, what their grown-up thinks.

If you publish for children across more than one character family, Toddlecast keeps each brand's look, voice and boundaries separate, and keeps a record of how every asset was made.
Each brand holds its own palette, cast, voices, boundaries list and description footer. A script for one brand cannot borrow another brand's characters by mistake.
Approved character sheets lock how a character looks. Every new scene is checked against the sheet, so episode forty matches episode one.
Writers draft, reviewers approve, owners publish. Everyone sees the same log and nobody can skip the review.
Every job moves through the same states, and only a reviewer can move it to the last one.
Every asset gets a line. When a platform or partner asks how something was made, you have the answer. Example rows below.

This page explains how Toddlecast is designed to keep children safe, what data it handles, and which pieces are not finished yet. It is a plain description of our plans, not a legal document, and the full privacy policy will come before launch.
The Studio side makes videos that other people's children will watch. So the rules are built into the workflow.
Every script is checked against a boundaries list before audio or pictures are made. Pacing defaults are slow: no cut under two seconds, no flashing.
The checklist reminds you to set Made for Kids, and the description includes an AI disclosure line. You still make the final call and do the upload.
No purchase nudges, no "tap subscribe" from characters, and no claims that a video teaches or develops anything.
Characters and voices are designed, never copied from a real child or a real person.
Creations and summaries stay until you delete them, and deleting your account deletes them. Exact retention periods, including backups, will be set out in the privacy policy before launch.
We are not claiming compliance with any law or certification yet. When that changes, this page will say so, and say how.

Toddlecast does not bulk-produce templates. YouTube also demonetizes mass-produced, repetitive content, so slop is a bad plan anyway.
You do. Your scripts, characters and finished videos belong to your workspace. Music and voice assets follow the commercial-use terms of the service that made them, and the rights register records which one that was.
The current plan is a writing model for scripts and the safety review, a voice and music service for narration and songs, an image model for characters, and optional motion and lip-sync models. Toddlecast runs them for you through credits. The specific providers may change before launch, and we will list them on this site.

Yes. A brand workspace holds your own cast, palette, voices and boundaries. Characters have to be original. We do not help copy other people's characters or real people.
That is the plan: cancel monthly plans whenever you like and keep access until the end of the month you paid for. Yearly plans will have the same end-of-period rule. Final terms come with launch.
